NUNAWADING BASKETBALL | The ups and downs of a regular season. Any coach will tell you, it's never perfect, you'll need to ride the waves and hopefully the preparation and practice time you invest see's you come out the end still standing.

This Big V Victorian Youth Championship campaign has been no different for either of our Nunawading Spectres teams (both went 13-9 across the season) but both head into this Sunday's Elimination Finals well seeded (both 2nd in Terrill Conference), in good form and holding home court advantage.

The Spectres women return to the postseason for a third consecutive year, hoping that the experience gained will help propel them another step towards championship success. Whilst for Nunawading's men, this is their first taste of playoff action since 2014.

The women's game will see local rival Ringwood enter The Graveyard in a bid to unsettle the Spectres hunt for success and in the men's contest, Sandringham will look to claw out an upset against arguably the hottest team in the league right now.

Both games are set to be absolute blockbusters. Both teams need your support to win and advance.

Elimination Finals - Sunday 23 July
Women 12:00pm: Nunawading Spectres v Ringwood Hawks
Men 2:00pm: Nunawading Spectres v Sandringham Sabres
