MELBOURNE – The Nunawading Spectres are thrilled to announce that Andrew Cutler will be back coaching the NBL1 Men’s side in 2025.

On coaching, Cutler said, “I’ve been lucky enough to be a part of the club for a number of years now and I’m really motivated to continue to develop the program and build on the performances of previous seasons.”

Cutler has represented the Nunawading Spectres as a player at both junior and senior levels before going into coaching the Spectres Men Big V Youth League team in three successful seasons. His promotion to NBL1 Men’s coach came in 2021, whereby he and assistant coach Ed Niu have led the program.

His coaching career has seen him be selected as assistant coach for the Victorian U20s Men’s team, where he saw success in 2024 when Victoria won the National Championship.

“Our preseason work is underway, and we’re working hard to build a team that Nunawading fans can get behind in such a competitive NBL1 South conference,” added Cutler.

The Nunawading Spectres look forward to seeing where Cutler takes the NBL1 Men’s program in his 2025 pursuit for success.
