Vale Garry Christie

Nunawading Basketball and its wider community is deeply saddened by the passing of Garry Christie.

Garry, affectionately known around the courts as ‘Grandpa Gaz’ was a long serving coach within the Nunawading Spectres representative program and played an integral role in talent identification & development.

A passionate and caring man that gave selflessly to so many aspiring young athletes and their families.

Our thoughts extend to Garry’s family and friends in this difficult time.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday 5th December 2023 at St. John’s Church, Coral Street Frankston East.
