Cassidy Mihalko Returning to Nunawading

MELBOURNE – The Nunawading Spectres have re-signed import guard Cassidy Mihalko for the NBL1 South 2023 season.

“Cass is an integral part of what we do both on and off the court, and an important veteran presence on a squad that features aspirational, young athletes,” Nunawading Basketball Operations Manager Paul Flynn said.  “As a returning import, Cass has both knowledge and feel for the league, our program, and the systems we have in play. We can’t wait to see the impact she has in her second season at Nunawading.”

Mihalko appeared in 24-games for the Spectres across the NBL1 South 2022 season, returning averages of 14.8 points, 5.9 rebounds and 2.6 assists., eclipsing the 20-point milestone on five separate occasions.

Mihalko is currently plying her trade in the Cyprus A League, where she is second in the league in scoring with 27.4 points. She is set to re-join her Nunawading teammates in March 2023 before the NBL1 South 2023 season tip-off.
