Allen and Smith have both secured spots on the prestigious Australian Opals team. Despite their unavailability for the recent Ballin’24 series against the Chinese in Melbourne, their exceptional form in the WNBA have earned them places on the 12-strong roster heading to Paris. Their selection is a testament to their dedication, skill and impact in the worlds premier women’s leagues.

Marena Whittle will make history as part of Australia’s first ever 3×3 team, the Gangurrus, to qualify for Olympic competition.
