Return to Sport Update – 17 February
Nunawading Basketball is excited to announce a ‘return to sport’ following this morning’s announcement by Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews regarding an easing of restrictions across the state.
(Wednesday 17 February) by the Victorian Government and Department of Health.
We are pleased that basketball will be able to recommence from Thursday 18 February at 8:00am at a COVID-Safe level according to the Return to Sport Guidelines (Version 10 / 17 February).
Following updates from the Victorian Government regarding the mandatory wearing of face masks while indoors, please note that for all Nunawading Basketball venues;
Approved face coverings must be worn by all patrons over the age of 12 years, while inside the venue, except for players or officials participating.
Coaches or other people in non-exertive roles must wear a face mask at all times unless a lawful exemption applies.
Face masks must be worn in indoor public spaces apart from when eating or drinking.
You must always carry a face mask with you when you leave home unless you have a lawful reason not to.

Forest Hill College Basketball Academy – Thursday 18 February
Skills Academy Development Program – Thursday 18 February
MEBA Senior Domestic Competition – Thursday 18 February
Spook Hoops Casual Basketball Sessions – Friday 19 February
MEBA Junior Domestic Competition – Friday 19 February
Victorian Junior Basketball League – Friday 19 February
GEBC Junior Domestic Competition – Saturday 20 February
On arrival at Nunawading Basketball venues, all patrons are required to check-in via the COVID-comply QR Code displayed on entrance. This ensures sufficient attendance records are maintained over the coming months as we return to sport and will help keep us all on court.
