Victorian Junior Basketball League action officially resumed last Friday night around the state. The sweltering conditions saw some games postponed and / or rescheduled to the Sunday as stadiums tried to keep court temperatures down.
The Nunawading Spectres, buoyant from a positive outing at the Eltham-Dandenong Tournament across the Australia Day long weekend proved strong performers again as Phase II Grading tipped off, or for those teams already qualified through to ‘VC’ a series of practice games (Pool XX).
