Schmidtke Signs On

Nunawading, Victoria- The Nunawading Spectres have re-signed fan favourite Taylah ‘Choccy’ Schmidtke for their 2025 NBL1 South season, the club are pleased to announce.

As a young point guard in the team, her opportunity to showcase her abilities really came in the beginning of the 2024 season when Rachel Antoniadou went down with an injury during preseason. Known for her defensive pressure, she has come into her own offensively now having NBL1 experience under her belt.

Choccy has worked hard this off season, and the Spectres look forward to seeing how this will translate come round 1 against the Waverley Falcons on the 29th of March.
